10 Tips to Remember When Working with Paper Backdrops
10 Tips for Seamless Paper Backdrop Success
We ran across a great article of VERY basic tips on seamless paper backdrops on Savage’s Paper’s website: 10 Tips to Remember When Working with Paper Backdrops that we thought was worth reading.
You know we love working with seamless paper - you can see a past article about it Daniel wrote here: https://thesmashcake.com/noblog/seamless-paper (be sure to watch the video too!).
Seamless paper provides you a blank canvas to work with. We have parents request it specifically, citing that other designs feel too busy for the modern aspect of their home. After reading the article I’ve decided that maybe we need to do a little investigation regarding storing the paper in one of Savage’s upright paper storage holders. (We’ve been storing the paper upright in its box to this point.)
As we’ve mentioned before, unless you only shoot single person headshots at your studio (I’m banking that’s not the case, as you’re on a smash cake site) there’s no point in purchasing anything other the 107” wide, 36’ long roll.
If you’re new to photography, or just new to seamless, take a quick moment to read the rest of Savage’s article: 10 Tips to Remember When Working with Paper Backdrops
