Photography Audiobooks
Information is Key
Daniel and I will always believe that more information is better. Especially with a photography business. The photography world changes so incredibly fast and so does the educational material. It almost seems that there isn’t enough time in the day to keep up with it all. Or is there? (insert cheesy grin here)
As a photographer I’m betting you spend a soul sucking amount of time editing. It seems to me that having your backside glued to a chair for hours on end makes you the perfect candidate for what I call W.I.N. a Wonderfully Immersive Neducation? I really wanted to make a cool acronym that spelled out the word win but apparently I’m going to need a stronger cup of coffee. Anyway, all I’m saying is that since you have to be glued to a chair anyway, why not fire up an audiobook on marketing? Or perhaps Search Engine Optimization? Or maybe you can explore examples of Russian existentialism as it pertains to middle aged reality TV stars? Whatever you choose to download on Audible will be waaaaay more beneficial to your business and your mental health than spending hours listening to the static in your ears. Which, by the way, is caused by prolonged exposure to all Adobe products. Adobe has announced an upcoming software update to address this.
While you eagerly await the new Adobe '“ear static” reduction slider in Lightroom why not fill the time by downloading a free audiobook from Audible.
Here are several business books I wish I had found earlier. If you never read anything ever again, read Purple Cow and Hug Your Customers. They’re amazing.
