I’ve talked about it before on this this blog, but I have a cake “problem” that may require a 12 Step Program at a certain point. Since I can’t eat it every day I have to turn to YouTube to get my daily cake fix.
I promise, there is a benefit to watching cake videos besides just getting to stare a cakes for 10 glorious uninterrupted minutes. While watching these videos I come up with interesting new smash cake set design ideas as well as tips for decorating cakes. See, it’s not just an indulgent waste of time, I’m actually learning something, and you can too. Not only will you pick up tips on cake decorating just by watching but you will be introduced to what’s possible. Those of you who use professional bakeries to supply your smash cakes will benefit from knowing what’s possible, because you’ll know what to ask your bakers for. For those of you who are planning to DIY your smash cake you’re bound to pick up some decorating tips simply by observing the masters at work. Either way you’ll get to stare a cakes for 10 glorious uninterrupted minutes and call it “research”.
